Approach

I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with esteemed Pratt Institute designers, faculty, and the passionate team at District 35 NYC Council. Our approach was rooted in community immersion—we conducted field visits and engaged directly with residents at voting sites to ensure our campaign genuinely reflected their voices.

As the lead designer, I developed a unified visual language across digital and print platforms, creating user-friendly web pages, engaging print collateral, and vibrant social media content. Every design decision focused on accessibility, clarity, and community representation. This hands-on strategy fostered trust and connection, ultimately leading to a 25% increase in engagement and a 30% rise in voter turnout compared to previous years.
